As one of Cobb's most iconic cards, the Red Background pose has long been considered one of the great classics of the T206 set and of all vintage cards. The offered example has a particularly striking portrait and brilliant colors, with a virtually flawless red background. Extremely crisp and clean, both front and back, with even wear at the corners, and centering toward the left. A substantial crease and moderately heavy wear run across the bottom left of the front, while the classic Sweet Caporal 350 advertising on the reverse is only partial intact due to paper loss, with Factory 30 printed near the bottom. Even with the imperfections, the card still possesses strong eye appeal and is an affordable raw low grade example which is an affordable option and makes it a great "entry level" version of one of the most iconic cards of all time.
