Product details
The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Washington Senators 9-7 in Game 7 of the 1925 World Series on October 15, 1925, at Forbes Field, to win the World Series championship. The Pirates became the first team to come back from a 3-1 deficit in a best-of-seven World Series. The game was played in a steady rain on a muddy field that officials had controversially attempted to dry by dousing it in gasoline and setting it on fire, creating smoke and a scorched surface. Ultimately, the Pirates would finally solve Walter Johnson, en route to their 2nd World Series title. This well preserved 1925 World Series game 7 ticket stub is authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
