Product details
Game 1 of the 1955 World Series was famously become known as the "Jackie Steals Home" game. Ultimately, The New York Yankees defeated the Brooklyn Dodgers 6-5 in Game 1 of the 1955 World Series on September 28, 1955, at Yankee Stadium, a series which the Dodgers would later go on to win. The game is famous for it's 8th inning moment. In a back and fourth game, the Dodgers narrowed the lead to 6-5 when Jackie Robinson famously stole home plate, prompting a heated argument from Yankees catcher Yogi Berra. Umpire Bill Summers called him safe. This beautiful 1955 game 1 ticket stub is graded and encapsulated as a VG-EX 4 by PSA/DNA.
