In Super Bowl V, the Baltimore Colts defeated the Dallas Cowboys 16-13 in Super Bowl V on January 17, 1971, at the Miami Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida. The game is often called the "Blunder Bowl" due to a combined 11 turnovers and numerous penalties. Cowboys' linebacker Chuck Howley was named the Super Bowl MVP, the only time in history a player from the losing team has received the award, after recording two interceptions.
