Product details
Paul Waner, nicknamed "Big Poison" due to a Brooklyn fan's mispronunciation of "Big Person," was a Hall of Fame right fielder who accumulated over 3,000 hits and a career .333 batting average during his 20-year MLB career. He spent the majority of his career, from 1926 to 1940, with the Pittsburgh Pirates, where he formed a record-setting outfield duo with his younger brother, Lloyd "Little Poison" Waner. Waner won the 1927 NL MVP Award along with his first of 3 batting titles, and is a member of the coveted 3,000 hit club. Waner was elected to the Hall Of Fame in 1952. This Paul Waner GPC has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
